Adoption Information

Dear animal friends, the animals you meet on our website are urgently looking for a new home or kind people who are willing to sponsor a cat or a dog! Many of the animals have lived through terrible experiences and ordeals, some were badly mistreated or kept in inappropriate conditions. Sometimes they simply became too much work for their former owners to be able to care for them.

We kindly ask you to be aware and be understanding that Tierschutzliga-Dorf does not hand over their animals at just any price! All the animals here are innocent and have not chosen their own fate, they deserve to be loved and cared for. We kindly ask anyone who is interested and is considering adopting an animal to carefully consider their decision, and then to come and visit us and the animals so you get to know the animal beforehand and the animal gets to know you!

Having second thoughts whether you should adopt an older animal or an animal that has been with us for a long time at the Shelter?
