Description changed at 01-03-2010

  • German Sheppard
  • female, castrated
  • born 2003
  • Shoulder height: 58cm

This wonderful German Sheppard came to us from a care place where the dog unfortunately could no longer stay due to showing signs of a strong hunting instinct. Lady came to the care place in the first place as her former owner took badly care of her.

Lady is a friendly, loving and in the beginning a somewhat shy dog. She shows signs of having had some training and she reacts to commands. Lady is also house trained and behaves very well indoors.

Since being at the Shelter she seems to have settled in and her shyness has completely disappeared. She lives in an out-door enclosure and has no direct dogs next to her which makes her a lot calmer. Lady has put on weight in our care and is now fit but she needs lots of exercise and mental stimulation.

Lady urgently needs a new home! She needs a family who has the time to work with her and who will let her be part of the family. Lady gets on well with other dogs but not with smaller animals such as rabbits and also not with cats.

NEWS 23.02.2010: Lady had to be taken to the Vet clinic!

News: Lady is new back at the Shelter again. She is suffering from an Auto immune illness probably caused by stress due to the many animals and constant activity at the Shelter. Therefore, we are URGENTLY looking for a home for Lady where she can finally find peace and enjoy family life.
