Susi
Special Needs Animal since 16-09-2008

- House Cat-Siam mix
- female, castrated
- born approx. April 2006
Susi lives at the Shelter since June 2008. She was given to our care when her former owner had to go to a nursing home.
Shortly after Susi's arrival she fell ill with Cat Flu and had to be confined for months in the special nursing unit. It appears that Susi is suffering from a chronic form of flu which keeps coming back whenever She is stressed.
For a while now Susi lives in a Cat community with access to out-doors facilities which allows her to sit and enjoy the sun. On occasion she needs treatment for her sensitive eyes.
Despite the long treatment she is a loving, playful and very friendly cat. She is very much longing to find a new permanent home amongst people who will have time for her. Susi should be rehomed as an in-door cat but with the possibility to be outside for instance on a secure balcony.
It is important that Susi is not put in stressful situations! She has no problem with other cats or children, although the children should be at an age where they understand the needs of cats and behave responsibly amongst animals.
We hope very soon to find a loving new family for Susi.
